About American Education Services (AES)

American Education Services (AES), an unincorporated division of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), has grown from a small student loan guarantor with a volume of only 4,600 student loans in 1964, to one of the largest, full-service financial aid organizations in the nation.

We have devoted our energy, resources and imagination to creating affordable access to higher education for students and their families.

AES continues to take a leadership role in developing innovative ways to ease the financial burdens of students and borrowers, while streamlining financial aid delivery systems for schools and lenders.

About FedLoan Servicing

FedLoan Servicing, a not-for-profit agency, is a division of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA). We were established in 2009 to support the United States Department of Education's ability to originate and service student loans owned by the United States government.

FedLoan Servicing is one of only four Department of Education approved customer service providers of these loans.

We are dedicated to supporting student borrowers who need an easy, convenient and online way to manage their student loans. And, we proudly support PHEAA in its mission to "Create Access to Education" for all students and their families.
